Two weeks ago I went down to Queen Street West to pick up some rubber stamp supplies, I got there before the store opened and had time to catch a coffee at the cafe across the street.
I had to resist all of these yummies!
Look at these lovely macarons in beautiful rainbow shades.
And from the business card below you can see that they are doing a fundraiser for Japan with the macarons.
On another food note that isn’t as pretty as the macarons – here is a picture of some cabbage that I steamed up the other night - doesn’t it look like someone signed it – what, designer cabbage?
Back soon with some Travel Journal pages from our recent cruise.

Hey Lorraine, thanks for stopping by my corner of the world. My cousin taught me how to crochet beaded bracelets. Nothing to it at all. You string your beads first, start off with a few chains and then pull a bead and single crochet around it -- one or twice then pull up your next bead. She knows how to use different clasps but I just got the toggles because they are easiest to just tie on. So quick and easy, really nothing to it at all. Good luck! :) Tammy
Thank you very much, Tammy - I will try that!
Lorraine, I can show you how to do this if you want to learn!
Yes, please, Cynthia! I'm not sure what kind of thread to use. Let's do a craft afternoon soon!
